Pankaj Tripathi Returns As Kaleen Bhaiya In New 'Mirzapur: The Movie' Poster, Teaser Out Today
Excitement surrounding 'Mirzapur: The Movie' has intensified after the makers announced that the film's much-awaited teaser will be released today at 12 pm , offering fans their first official glimpse of the big-screen adaptation of the hugely popular crime drama franchise.
The announcement was accompanied by a new character poster featuring Pankaj Tripathi reprising his iconic role as Kaleen Bhaiya . The poster presents the powerful crime lord in his trademark intense avatar against a fiery backdrop, hinting at the high-stakes drama, violence and power struggles that have defined the Mirzapur universe.
The makers also unveiled another striking poster showing an empty royal throne positioned at the centre of a corridor lined with rifles and weapons. Bathed in a dramatic golden glow, the throne symbolises the fierce battle for supremacy that remains central to the story. The poster carries the tagline, "Gaddi Hai Toh Hum Hai," highlighting the relentless pursuit of power.
Producer Farhan Akhtar confirmed the teaser release on social media, while the film's principal photography, which concluded in February 2026 , was previously confirmed by cast members Shweta Tripathi and Ali Fazal .
The film will also mark the return of Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya , a development that has generated considerable interest among fans, given the character's apparent death in the second season of the series.
Alongside Tripathi, the film features Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta and Abhishek Banerjee as Subodh, popularly known as Compounder.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh , who helmed several episodes of the original series, the film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment banner.
