Picasso’ First Look: Shivarajkumar And Abishan Jeevinth’s Pairing Sparks Buzz

The first look of ‘Picasso’, the upcoming film starring Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and actor-director Abishan Jeevinth, has created considerable buzz among South Indian cinema fans. Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty unveiled the film’s title and first-look poster on Monday.

Directed by debutant Gowtham Sivaraman, ‘Picasso’ brings together Shivarajkumar and Abishan in a fresh combination. The film also marks Abishan’s reunion with Yogalakshmi, following their collaboration in his directorial debut ‘Tourist Family’ (2025). Abishan, who recently made his lead acting debut with ‘With Love’, is expected to be one of the film’s key attractions.

The cast also includes Shivani Nagaram, known for ‘Little Hearts’, and Gana Vinoth. Yogalakshmi plays the character Angel Jeniffer, adding another interesting dimension to the project.

Produced by A Balamurugan under the Drama Company banner, ‘Picasso’ marks the production house’s first venture. The technical team features Leon James as the music composer, Pragadeesh Prabhu S as cinematographer, Sureshkumar K as editor and Viju Vijayan as art director.

The film has already completed its shooting, and the makers are now building anticipation around its promotional campaign. The first-look posters have drawn attention for the pairing of the veteran Shivarajkumar with the younger Abishan.

Shivarajkumar was most recently seen in ‘Peddi’ and has several projects lined up, including ‘Jailer 2’, in which he reprises his role as Narasimha. Meanwhile, Yogalakshmi is also part of Vetri Maaran and Silambarasan TR’s upcoming ‘Arasan’ and stars in the JioHotstar series ‘The Court’.

With the title and first look now revealed, expectations are building for the film’s teaser and further promotional updates.
