Prabhas Fans Await Fauzi Glimpse Ahead of Birthday

Fans of Prabhas are eagerly awaiting a special glimpse of his upcoming period action drama Fauzi, expected to be unveiled around the actor’s 47th birthday on October 23. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is expected to introduce audiences to its historical setting and Prabhas’ character as a soldier.

According to industry reports, the makers are planning to release special visuals for the birthday occasion. However, the exact format of the promotional content has not been officially confirmed. Producer Y Ravi Shankar has reportedly indicated that the material should be viewed as an introduction to the film’s world rather than a full-fledged teaser, urging fans to keep their expectations realistic.

Set against a pre-independence backdrop, Fauzi reportedly features Prabhas as a soldier associated with the Azad Hind Fauj. The project marks his first collaboration with Hanu Raghavapudi, who earned recognition for directing the romantic drama Sita Ramam.

The film features Imanvi Esmail, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada, alongside other cast members. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film’s period setting and storytelling.

Fauzi was initially scheduled to reach cinemas on December 3, 2026. However, the release was reportedly postponed to provide additional time for production and post-production work. Recent industry reports suggest that the film is now targeting March 18, 2027, although the revised theatrical date has not yet been officially confirmed.

The shooting schedule is reportedly expected to continue until mid-December, with important sequences, including the interval portion, being filmed.

The proposed birthday glimpse is expected to offer fans their first substantial look at the film’s atmosphere and Prabhas’ character. With its historical backdrop, ensemble cast and the actor’s collaboration with Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi remains one of the much-anticipated projects among Prabhas fans.
