Prabhas’ Fauzi Sparks Buzz After Alleged Leaked Clip Surfaces Online
An alleged leaked clip from Prabhas’ upcoming period war drama Fauzi has sparked fresh excitement among fans, with the footage reportedly surfacing after the actor shared it on his Instagram Story before deleting it. While the clip has been widely discussed online, its authenticity has not been independently confirmed, and some social media accounts have claimed that the footage is old or unrelated to the film.
The video reportedly features military-style action, adding to speculation about the film’s large-scale war sequences. Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is set against the backdrop of the 1940s and World War II, with the story drawing from the history of the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army). Reports have said Prabhas plays a British Indian Army soldier who eventually defects and joins the INA in the fight for India’s independence.
The project has already attracted attention for its reported scale and period setting. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series Films presenting the film. The cast includes Imanvi Esmail, Sajjad Delafrooz, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada, among others. The film is also planned as a two-part epic, with the second instalment reportedly serving as a prequel.
The latest development, however, concerns its release. Fauzi was originally scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 3, 2026, but the makers have postponed the release and have not announced a new date. Producer Y Ravi Shankar confirmed the delay in September, while actor Jitin Gulati recently said the team is still working on the film and does not want to compromise by releasing an unfinished project.
The makers had also previously warned against sharing leaked material, saying such leaks could affect the intended theatrical experience. With the latest clip adding to the online buzz, fans are now waiting for an official update on the film’s new release date and further glimpses of Prabhas’ much-anticipated role.
