Priyanka Chopra Jonas Extends Holika Dahan Wishes, Hopes for Triumph of Good Over Evil

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas marked the occasion of Holika Dahan by expressing hope for the “triumph of good over evil” amid ongoing global tensions and developments.

The actor shared a photograph from the traditional Holika Dahan ritual , observed a day before the festival of colours, on her Instagram Stories.

In a note accompanying the image, she reflected on the current state of the world, referring to escalating conflicts and international uncertainties, particularly tensions in the Middle East and other global regions.

She wrote, “There’s a lot unfolding around the world. It’s hard. It’s heavy. But light has a way of showing us the way. Here’s to the triumph of good over evil. #HolikaDahan.”

On the professional front, her latest project is “The Bluff,” which premiered on Prime Video on February 25 . Directed by Frank E. Flowers , the film features Priyanka as a former pirate attempting to leave behind a violent past while protecting her family.

The ensemble cast includes Safia Oakley-Green, Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Zack Morris, and David Field .

She is also set to appear in “Varanasi,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli . The Telugu-language epic action-adventure film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran .
