Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad, CM Revanth Reddy Extends Warm Welcome

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Telangana on Monday. He attended the valedictory session of the joint training programme for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, held at Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad . The visit, aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational structure , generated considerable political interest.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy accorded a warm welcome to Rahul Gandhi at Shamshabad Airport . From there, they travelled together to Vikarabad. The programme was attended by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal , Telangana PCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud , and Andhra Pradesh PCC President Y.S. Sharmila , along with other senior leaders.

The 10-day ‘Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan’ , which commenced on February 21 , saw participation from DCC presidents of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. According to Congress sources, the training camp focused on organisational strengthening, leadership development, electoral strategy formulation , and enhancing closer engagement with the public.

The meeting was conducted in strict confidentiality without media access. Party sources stated that internal matters and the future course of action were discussed in depth. Concluding his visit, Rahul Gandhi departed for Delhi later in the evening.
