Ram Charan’s RC17 Launch Scheduled for November 1 in Hyderabad

The much-anticipated RC17, starring Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar, is set to hold its pooja ceremony on November 1 in Hyderabad. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the upcoming pan-Indian action drama has generated considerable buzz among fans, particularly because it marks the reunion of the actor-director duo behind the blockbuster 'Rangasthalam' (2018).

The film’s launch had reportedly been planned earlier around the Dasara festivities, with October 25 also emerging as a possible date. However, the ceremony was subsequently rescheduled, with reports attributing the delay to the unavailability of an auspicious muhurat.

Following the launch ceremony, the makers are expected to move towards the next stage of production. While December had been mentioned as a possible start for filming, early 2027 has emerged as the more likely timeline for regular shooting, according to recent reports. The production team has yet to officially confirm the complete shooting schedule.

Ram Charan’s appearance has also become a talking point, with recent photographs reportedly showing him sporting a graying beard and glasses. The look has fuelled speculation about his character and the physical transformation he may have undergone for the film. However, the makers have not yet revealed official details about his role or the storyline.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that music composer Anirudh Ravichander could be associated with the project. If confirmed, the film would mark his first collaboration with Sukumar, who has frequently worked with composer Devi Sri Prasad.

Casting speculation has also intensified, with Vijay Sethupathi reportedly being considered for a crucial role. Actress Aneet Padda has been mentioned as a possible female lead, while Sara Arjun has also featured in reports about the casting. None of these developments has received official confirmation.

With the pooja ceremony approaching, RC17 is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched upcoming Telugu film projects. The makers are yet to announce its final title, complete cast and detailed production plans.
