Ravi Teja's 'Irumudi Kattu' Launches with Devotional Fervour Ahead of Film Release

The makers of 'Irumudi' , the upcoming Telugu action drama starring Ravi Teja , have unveiled the film's first single, 'Irumudi Kattu' , offering audiences a glimpse into the story's spiritual and emotional themes. Directed by Shiva Nirvana , the song has drawn attention from fans and devotees alike ahead of the film's theatrical release on August 21, 2026 .

Composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar and sung by Ananthu, the devotional track captures the essence of the Ayyappa pilgrimage tradition. The song features lyrics penned by Shiva Nirvana and Kalyan Chakravarthy and has been released in both Telugu and Tamil. Set against temple backdrops and devotional gatherings, the visuals are accompanied by chants of "Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa" , creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The song introduces Ravi Teja in a distinctive role as a father undertaking Ayyappa Deeksha alongside his daughter. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar appears alongside him, while Baby Nakshathra plays his daughter, whose bond with her father is expected to form the emotional foundation of the film. The Telugu version of the song crossed 150,000 views shortly after its release, with many fans predicting it will resonate strongly during the upcoming Ayyappa season.
