Indian cricket's newest sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi delivered another reminder of his extraordinary talent, smashing the fastest fifty in List A cricket history during a breathtaking innings in the tri-series final against Sri Lanka A on Sunday.

The 15-year-old left-hander tore into the Sri Lankan bowling attack from the very first over, racing to a half-century in just 11 balls and eclipsing a record that had stood untouched for more than two decades. The previous mark belonged to Sri Lanka's Kaushalya Weeraratne , who had reached the milestone in 12 deliveries in 2005.
