A gradual shift toward early summer weather is becoming evident across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana , with rising daytime temperatures, dry winds, and largely clear skies dominating the regional outlook. Meteorological trends indicate that winter has effectively retreated, making way for warmer conditions typical of late February and early March.

Across Andhra Pradesh, several districts are already experiencing above-normal temperatures , particularly in the Rayalaseema region , where daytime readings are nearing 36–37°C . Coastal districts, including Visakhapatnam and Nellore, are witnessing warm afternoons balanced by moderate humidity and cooling sea breezes in the evening. Minimum temperatures across the state range between 22°C and 25°C , keeping early mornings relatively comfortable. While skies remain mostly clear, isolated coastal pockets may experience brief cloud cover or very light showers.

Telangana is seeing similar warming trends, with maximum temperatures ranging between 32°C and 36°C across most districts. Hyderabad and surrounding areas continue to experience pleasant mornings followed by warm afternoons. Northern districts such as Adilabad and Nizamabad remain slightly cooler at night, while southern areas are warming more rapidly. Weather observers note the possibility of isolated thunderstorms around March 1–2 due to seasonal atmospheric instability, which may bring brief gusty winds and localized showers.

Overall, the coming week is expected to remain largely dry, with sunshine dominating both states. The warming trend is likely to intensify into March, signaling the approach of the peak summer season.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to afternoon heat , and plan outdoor activities during early morning or evening hours. Farmers and outdoor workers should monitor weather fluctuations, particularly in areas where brief thunderstorms may occur.
