
Rythu Bharosa to Be Credited to Telangana Farmers from March 22
The Telangana government has announced good news for farmers in the state. It has decided to credit funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme into farmers’ bank accounts starting from March 22.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a meeting on this issue with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao . According to the government’s decision, the distribution of Rythu Bharosa funds will begin on March 22 from Narmetta in Siddipet district .
As part of the first phase, the Chief Minister will credit ₹3,590 crore into the accounts of 70 lakh farmers for up to one acre of land. In the second phase, around ₹2,650 crore will be credited to farmers’ accounts over the next 20 days .
The government has also decided to deposit the remaining funds into farmers’ accounts by the end of April . In total, the government will credit around ₹9,000 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for about 1.50 crore acres across the state.
People of All Religions Should Live in Brotherhood
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed hope that people of all religions in the state would live together in harmony and take Telangana forward on the path of progress during the festival of Ramzan , which symbolizes communal harmony.
The Chief Minister attended the grand Iftar dinner organised by the State Minority Welfare Department at LB Stadium on Sunday evening as the chief guest.
Addressing the Muslim community on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the holy month of Ramzan is not merely a festival but a sacred period that reminds people of values. He said that fasting for a month with spiritual discipline, helping others, and strengthening relationships are the true messages of Ramzan.
He added that the holy month promotes mutual respect, tolerance, and brotherhood in society.
The Chief Minister said development is possible only when people of all religions move forward together in the state. He stated that Telangana would achieve greater progress if Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians work together with mutual respect. He emphasized that people’s unity is the main strength behind the state’s progress.
Government Giving Priority to Minority Welfare
The Chief Minister clarified that the state government is giving top priority to the welfare of minorities. He recalled that to encourage sportspersons, the government had given a ministerial position to cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin , and provided DSP jobs to Mohammed Siraj and Nikhat Zareen , along with ₹2 crore financial assistance .
He also said that Shabbir Ali , who belongs to the minority community, was appointed as a government adviser and that several leaders had been given opportunities by appointing them as chairpersons of various corporations.
He further stated that the government is taking steps for the advancement of minorities in the education sector as well. Minorities are being given a fair share in every development and welfare scheme, and minority students are being provided special opportunities in the construction of integrated hostels , he said. The government would extend all possible support for the development of minorities, he assured.

“This government belongs to all of us. I am like a brother in your household. Only if we all work together can the city of Hyderabad, the state of Telangana, and our country progress,” the Chief Minister said, calling for everyone’s cooperation in this development mission.
Ministers Mohammad Azharuddin , Ponnam Prabhakar , and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy , Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir , MP Asaduddin Owaisi , along with several public representatives, Muslim religious leaders, and thousands of members of the minority community attended the programme.
