Sahasra, Zoho Showcase India’s Tech Strength on Global Stage at COMPUTEX 2026
Indian companies are increasingly positioning themselves as global technology partners rather than merely consumers of overseas innovation, a trend that was on display at COMPUTEX 2026 , one of the world's largest technology exhibitions, where Indian firms Sahasra Electronics and Zoho Corporation showcased their products and explored new international opportunities.
Held in Taipei under the theme "AI Together," COMPUTEX 2026 brought together a record 1,500 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions across 6,000 booths , highlighting the rapid growth of the global artificial intelligence and computing ecosystem. The exhibition has emerged as a key platform for advancements in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, robotics and next-generation technologies .
Among the few Indian exhibitors at the event, Sahasra Electronics , part of the Sahasra Group, displayed its microSD card portfolio while seeking customers and technology partners from around the world.
"We have customers in China, the US, Europe and the UK, so we are meeting customers here, and we are getting very, very good responses," said Ankur Dwivedi , Strategic Account Manager at Sahasra.
The company said it was using the exhibition to explore new business opportunities, technology collaborations and potential joint ventures that could help bring advanced manufacturing capabilities and innovation to India. The participation comes as New Delhi intensifies efforts to build a stronger domestic electronics and semiconductor ecosystem and integrate into global supply chains.
Meanwhile, Zoho Corporation highlighted Taiwan's growing importance as a market for software and digital services. The company said rising digital adoption among businesses in the region was creating significant opportunities for cloud-based enterprise solutions.
"We are here in Taiwan because it is a growing market for us, it has good potential for Zoho," said Eng Kit Goh , Market Lead for Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan.
According to Goh, India's reputation for software development and technology expertise has helped build trust among Taiwanese customers. "People have recognised Indian expertise in technology and software development; there is a trust as well," he said.
The growing presence of Indian companies at COMPUTEX reflects the broader expansion of India-Taiwan technology cooperation , particularly in semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure and electronics supply chains . While Taiwan contributes advanced manufacturing expertise, India offers a vast consumer market, engineering talent and a rapidly growing digital economy.
Organisers also expressed hope for greater Indian participation in future editions. James C F Huang , Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, invited more Indian technology firms to leverage the exhibition's global reach.
The event concluded on Friday after attracting 111,312 buyers and visitors from 152 countries and regions . Technology giants including Nvidia, Intel, Marvell and Qualcomm unveiled major initiatives during the exhibition, underscoring Taiwan's central role in the global AI and semiconductor landscape and highlighting new opportunities for Indian firms seeking international growth.
