Salman Khan Returns To Playback Singing After 11 Years With 'Teri Sexy Beauty'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has returned to playback singing after 11 years with 'Teri Sexy Beauty', a peppy romantic number from his upcoming military drama 'Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace', directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Released on Wednesday, November 4, the song features Salman alongside Chitrangda Singh, marking their first on-screen pairing. Chitrangda, who plays Salman's wife in the film, is seen dancing in a red sari, playing a guitar and appearing in sequences featuring air hostesses and background dancers. Salman makes an appearance in a recording studio before joining the dancers in energetic sequences set around an aircraft hangar.

The track features vocals by Salman Khan and Muskaan, with Sajid Khan credited as composer and lyricist. Himesh Reshammiya is associated with the musical presentation, while Caesar Gonsalves has choreographed the song. Sajid Khan has also contributed additional vocals.

'Teri Sexy Beauty' is the fifth song released from the film, following its title track, 'Main Hoon', 'Chand Dekh Lena' and 'Jai Hind'. The latest number offers a light-hearted romantic and dance-oriented contrast to the film's serious military backdrop.

Salman shared the song on social media with a humorous caption referencing his early-morning flight.

The actor began his playback singing journey with 'Chandi Ki Daal Par Sone Ka Mor' from the 1999 film 'Hello Brother'. He subsequently sang popular numbers such as 'Most Wanted Track' from 'Wanted', 'Hangover', 'Tu Hi Tu' and 'Hai Yehi Zindagi' from 'Kick'. His last playback performance was 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' from the 2015 film 'Hero'.

'Maatrubhumi', previously titled 'Battle of Galwan', is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. Originally scheduled for April 17, 2026, the film reportedly underwent reshoots and storyline changes. Its final release date has not yet been announced.
