Sandeep Reddy Vanga Celebrates ‘Romanchakam’ Success With Champagne

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga joined the team of ‘Romanchakam’ for a cheerful success celebration, with champagne toasts, laughter and group hugs marking the gathering just days after the film’s theatrical release on September 3, 2026.

The Telugu romantic comedy is directed by Venu Gopal Reddy, who makes his directorial debut with the film. Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar headline the project, while Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his brother Pranay Reddy Vanga are behind the production under Bhadrakali Pictures. Vanga is the presenter, while Pranay Reddy Vanga is credited as producer.

The celebration comes after the film generated considerable buzz through support from several prominent Telugu stars. Vijay Deverakonda attended the pre-release event as chief guest, while Prabhas also promoted the project. Superstar Mahesh Babu praised the film after watching it, calling it “entertaining and promising” and appreciating the team's love, passion and hard work.

‘Romanchakam’ follows Anvesh, played by Sumanth Prabhas, a young engineering graduate who dreams of launching a startup with his friends. He develops a relationship with Mythili, portrayed by Ananthika, but their romance takes an unexpected turn when she arrives in Hyderabad and subsequently disappears, sending Anvesh and his friends on a chaotic search.

The film also features Upendra Limaye, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Narendra Ravi, Mani Aegurla and Sai Sohan in key roles. Reviews have particularly noted the comedy, friendship and group chemistry, while some critics have found the writing and emotional depth less convincing.

During the celebration, Vanga's playful reference to ‘Thatha’ and his invitation to join the office fun added another memorable moment. The banter also drew attention because of its connection with his upcoming ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas.
