India opener Smriti Mandhana has climbed to the No.1 spot in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings , crowning a strong run of form in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Australia.

Mandhana now leads the table with 790 rating points , overtaking South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt, who trails on 782. While India endured a tough tour and suffered a 3-0 ODI series defeat , Mandhana’s composure at the top of the order ensured she accumulated enough points to rise to the summit. Wolvaardt will have a chance to reclaim the top ranking during South Africa’s upcoming series against New Zealand.

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur re-entered the top 10, climbing to ninth after scores of 53, 54 and 25 across the three matches. Jemimah Rodrigues remains just outside at 12th, reflecting India’s competitive batting core despite the series result.

Australia captain Alyssa Healy, who struck a century in her farewell appearance, signed off her ODI career in fourth place with 744 points, positioned between Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner.

In the bowling charts, Alana King surged to the top with 775 rating points , ending Sophie Ecclestone’s near four-year reign. King claimed seven wickets in the series, including a decisive 4/33 in the third ODI , powering Australia to a 185-run victory. India’s Deepti Sharma is the lone Indian in the top 10 bowlers and also ranks fifth among all-rounders, while Gardner continues to dominate that category.

Currently in Australia with the national side, Mandhana remains central to India’s plans and recently led Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Women’s Premier League, underlining her status as one of the game’s most influential modern batters.
