Sreeleela Joins Rajinikanth’s Dharman, Third Schedule Wrapped
Sreeleela has officially joined Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil film Dharman, adding another Telugu star to the cast of the highly anticipated project directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The actress has reportedly begun shooting for her portions, with a video from the sets showing her in traditional attire.
While details about Sreeleela’s character remain under wraps, reports suggest that she could be paired with Ram Pothineni, marking another collaboration between the two actors after Skanda. However, the makers have not officially announced their on-screen pairing or revealed whether they play romantic leads.
Ram’s presence in Dharman itself gained attention after Raashii Khanna briefly shared and later deleted a picture featuring herself, Rajinikanth and Ram from the film’s sets. Reports subsequently confirmed that Ram is part of the project in an important role.
The latest development comes shortly after the makers completed the third shooting schedule. Director Ashwath Marimuthu had earlier revealed that the team would move to Mysuru for the fourth schedule, expected to run for around 10 days. The film has already been shot across Chennai and Hyderabad.
Dharman is said to be Rajinikanth’s 173rd film and marks his first collaboration with Ashwath Marimuthu. The director has described it as a family-oriented thriller, combining the mass appeal of Padayappa with investigative elements inspired by Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu. Rajinikanth is reportedly playing a doctor in the film.
The cast also includes Simran, Raashii Khanna and Yogi Babu. Kamal Haasan is backing the film through Raaj Kamal Films International along with R Mahendran of Turmeric Media. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi handles cinematography, Pradeep E Ragav is the editor and Anbariv is overseeing the action choreography.
With Sreeleela now joining the shoot, Dharman continues to expand its ensemble cast as production moves towards its next schedule.
