SRK set to play Cop in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly all set to don the khaki in the highly anticipated Tamil action entertainer Jailer 2 , starring legendary actor Rajinikanth . According to industry sources, Khan has been approached for an extended cameo in the sequel, where he will portray a police officer , adding fresh excitement to the pan‑India project.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures , Jailer 2 continues the story of Jailer , a retired cop who returns for another high‑octane journey. Reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan’s portions are scheduled to be shot this month, with his scenes expected to be filmed over seven to eight days .

If confirmed, this will mark one of the rare occasions the two superstars will share screen space, heightening anticipation among fans across industries. The inclusion of Khan, alongside a star‑studded ensemble featuring actors like Mithun Chakraborty , Mohanlal , Vijay Sethupathi and Vidya Balan , promises a cinematic spectacle.
