The vision document, aligned with the Centre's Viksit Bharat 2047 mission, seeks to position Andhra Pradesh as a model state powered by innovation, human capital, sustainable development, and high-quality governance. Addressing the gathering of national leaders and state representatives, Naidu said the state's development strategy would focus not only on economic growth but also on improving the quality of life for every citizen.
A major thrust of the roadmap is the elimination of poverty through large-scale job creation, skill development, and greater access to opportunities. The government plans to drive growth through an agri-tech revolution , stronger logistics infrastructure, and the adoption of advanced technologies across key sectors. Long-term water security and energy security have also been identified as critical pillars of future development.
Highlighting Andhra Pradesh's investment potential, the Chief Minister said the state has attracted investment commitments worth over ₹23 lakh crore in the past two years. He credited the achievement to transparent policies, ease-of-doing-business reforms, and investor-friendly governance. According to him, these investments are expected to generate significant employment opportunities and support the state's long-term economic ambitions.
Naidu also emphasized the growing role of technology in governance. Andhra Pradesh is strengthening its Real-Time Governance ecosystem through the use of Artificial Intelligence, predictive analytics, and advanced monitoring systems. Platforms such as AWARE are being leveraged to improve administrative efficiency, enable evidence-based decision-making, and enhance transparency in public service delivery.
The Chief Minister noted that the state's broader vision includes the development of emerging sectors such as AI, electronics, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and digital services. These industries are expected to play a key role in transforming Andhra Pradesh into a major economic hub over the next two decades.
On the social front, Naidu reiterated the government's commitment to inclusive development , promising universal access to housing, sanitation, safe drinking water, clean cooking fuel, uninterrupted electricity, digital connectivity, and welfare benefits. He also highlighted the P4 (Public-Private-People Partnership) initiative, which aims to encourage wealthier sections of society to support economically disadvantaged families.
The Chief Minister further raised concerns over the state's declining fertility rate, which has fallen below 1.5, and announced plans for a Population Management Policy to address future demographic challenges. Concluding his address, Naidu reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh's commitment to working closely with the Centre and NITI Aayog to achieve the shared goal of building a developed and prosperous India by 2047.
