Takshakudu Shoot Wrapped! Anand Deverakonda's Netflix Thriller Enters Final Phase

Anand Deverakonda's Takshakudu has officially completed filming, marking a major milestone for one of the most anticipated Telugu OTT originals. The makers announced the wrap with behind the scenes moments from the sets, ending months of production and taking the action thriller into its post production phase.

Directed by Vinod Anantoju , Takshakudu is more than a conventional action thriller. The film blends folklore, mythology and suspense , following a blind tribal man on a dangerous journey after a cursed night destroys his village. The teaser, which introduced the film's eerie atmosphere and mystery, received a positive response and significantly boosted expectations among audiences.

The film stars Anand Deverakonda alongside Nitanshi Goel and is backed by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The teaser also confirmed that the film will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam , making it a multilingual Netflix original.

Sharing his excitement after wrapping the shoot, Anand described the project as a rewarding experience , thanked director Vinod Anantoju and the entire team, and urged audiences to revisit the teaser while waiting for the film's release.

Although Netflix had announced Takshakudu as part of its 2026 Telugu content slate earlier this year, the streaming giant is yet to reveal an official premiere date. With filming now complete and post production underway, fans are eagerly waiting to see Anand Deverakonda in one of the most challenging and intense roles of his career.
