The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) concluded its two-day annual Mahanadu in Vijayawada with leaders presenting the party’s political vision and development agenda for the coming years.

Senior leader Panchumarthi Anuradha said the massive public mandate in the previous elections, which reduced the opposition to just seven seats , reflected people’s trust in the NDA alliance and the TDP leadership. She stated that the party’s primary goal is to ensure continued political stability and development in Andhra Pradesh .

Speaking at the event, TDP leader Gouthu Sirisha announced that the party would voluntarily implement 33 percent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Assembly seats by the 2029 elections , regardless of the Centre’s decision on the issue.

She also highlighted the government’s focus on completing major irrigation projects , road infrastructure works, and development initiatives led by Nara Lokesh within the current term.

Reaffirming the party’s promises, Sirisha said the TDP aims to generate 2.4 million jobs for the youth while improving the financial condition of families across the state. She added that empowering women through entrepreneurship and economic opportunities would remain a key priority for the government.
