
Teen Tennis Sensation Srishti Climbs 104 Places in Latest Junior Rankings
Young Indian tennis prospect Srishti has made a significant leap in the latest June 8 junior rankings , climbing an impressive 104 positions following a string of dominant performances on the ITF circuit.
The Baldwin Girls High School student has been in exceptional form, capturing back-to-back J30 and J60 titles in Mexico and El Salvador. She further strengthened her run with a flawless championship campaign at the J60 Santa Tecla event , before finishing as runner-up at the J100 Guatemala tournament , underlining her consistency across higher-tier competitions.
Srishti’s rapid rise has been powered by her strong performances on hard courts, where she holds an 88% win rate (23–3) across eight tournaments this season. Her current form has also placed her among the top-ranked Under-13 players globally , marking her as one of India’s most promising junior talents.
She trains at the Tennis Advantage Academy under coach Dhyan Uthappa, having picked up the sport at the age of just four and a half. Coaches at the academy have credited her rapid development to her disciplined training routine and ability to adapt quickly in international conditions.
Behind her on-court progress has been steady support from her father, Kiran Gopalrajan , who has been actively involved in managing her travel schedule and training commitments, ensuring continuity across international tournaments.
With momentum firmly on her side, Srishti’s recent performances have begun attracting attention from the junior tennis circuit, where she is increasingly being viewed as a rising contender in singles competition.
As the junior season progresses, her consistency across multiple surfaces and tournaments will be closely watched as she continues her development on the international stage.
