Telangana Delivers on Public Trust in Two Years, Says Minister Ponguleti

Telangana has emerged as a national model in welfare and development , with the government delivering on public trust within just two years , said Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday.

The Minister was speaking after launching the revamped website of the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department at the Secretariat.

Addressing officials, Ponguleti said the state has witnessed visible transformation in key sectors , including agriculture, education, healthcare, housing, ration cards, fine rice distribution and employment generation . He noted that policies designed with people’s needs at the core are directly improving living standards across Telangana .

Highlighting the importance of communication, the Minister said the Information and Public Relations Department plays a crucial role in effectively conveying government initiatives to the public. He urged officials to leverage modern technology to ensure that development and welfare programmes reach citizens quickly and transparently .

The upgraded website, launched from the Minister’s chamber, is aimed at improving public access to government information and strengthening digital outreach .

Speaking on the occasion, Ponguleti said the people’s government has completed two years and entered its third year , adding that while the period may be short, the achievements have been significant . He recalled that soon after coming to power, the Indiramma government began implementing the six guarantees , and also introduced additional welfare schemes even without prior electoral promises.

The Minister said Telangana is making steady progress in agriculture and industry , attracting major investments and achieving strong economic growth . He added that the government remains focused on farmer welfare, employment opportunities for youth, and housing for the poor , with a clear and consistent policy direction.

Ponguleti further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy , the government is moving forward with the “Telangana Rising–2047” vision , aimed at positioning the state not only at the top nationally but also on the global stage . He expressed confidence that the long-term vision would help build a strong and prosperous Telangana for future generations .

The event was attended by I&PR Commissioner C.H. Priyanka , CM’s Chief Public Relations Officer G. Malsur , Additional Director D.S. Jagan , Joint Director Ramana , and other senior officials.
