
Telangana Reshuffles 13 IAS and Senior Officers in Administrative Overhaul
The Telangana government has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 13 IAS and non-cadre officers across key departments as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve administrative efficiency.
The appointments were announced through Government Order (G.O. Rt. No. 914) issued by the General Administration Department (Special-A).
As part of the changes, senior IAS officer N. Sridhar has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister , a key position within the state's administrative framework. Ajit Reddy , who was serving in the Chief Minister's Office, has been moved and appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Telangana , the state's investment promotion agency.
The government has appointed Ahmed Nadeem as the Principal Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) . Rahul Bojja has been posted as Principal Secretary, Disaster Management , and will additionally oversee the Backward Classes Welfare Department .
In another important assignment, Shailaja Ramaiyer has been transferred from the Endowments Department and appointed as Principal Secretary, Forest Department . She will also continue to hold additional charge of the Endowments Department.
The reshuffle also includes changes in the Handlooms and Handicrafts Department. Savyasachi Ghosh , currently serving as Special Secretary, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities within the department. Katyayani Devi has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the same department, after serving as Joint Managing Director of the State Finance Corporation.
The government has assigned additional charge of the Mines Department to Raghunandan Rao . K. Chandrakala has been appointed as Joint Metropolitan Commissioner of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) .
Among other postings, Musharraf Ali has been named FAC to the post of Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana REDCO , while Gangadhar has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Roads and Buildings Department .
At the field administration level, T. Venkanna has been posted as the new Commissioner of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) . K. Vidyasagar has been appointed as Director of Tourism , a position considered crucial for advancing Telangana's tourism development initiatives.
The latest reshuffle reflects the state's focus on strengthening administrative leadership across key sectors, including investment promotion, disaster management, welfare, infrastructure, urban governance, and tourism.
