Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Tie the Knot in Udaipur today

Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda and actor Rashmika Mandanna tied the knot on Wednesday at a luxury hotel on the outskirts of Udaipur in the presence of close family members and select guests.

At the auspicious time scheduled for 8:00 AM , the couple took seven sacred steps together, marking the beginning of their new journey as husband and wife. The rituals were conducted amid elaborate arrangements as part of the private ceremony.

The celebrations had unfolded over two days, beginning with a vibrant Haldi ceremony that Vijay had earlier shared on social media. The décor featured a circular outdoor setup with wooden stools for the bride and groom, surrounded by bright yellow and orange marigold petals. Personalised flower-shaped name placards reading “Rushie” Mandanna’s nickname and “Vijay” were arranged amid lilies, roses and marigolds.

Security was tightened at and around the venue for the high-profile event. Private security personnel along with local police were deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the ceremony, while drone movement was restricted to prevent unauthorised circulation of visuals.

Adding a light-hearted touch to the festivities, the couple earlier hosted a friendly cricket match within the hotel premises, dubbing it the “VIROSH Premier League” a nod to the affectionate nickname given to them by fans. Mandanna also shared glimpses of a pre-wedding dinner decorated with pink tulips and white floral accents.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple is set to host a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4 , where industry colleagues, friends and extended family members are expected to attend.

Meanwhile, Narendra Modi conveyed his heartfelt blessings and best wishes on the occasion, extending warm greetings to the newlyweds and their families.

The couple, who co-starred in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, were in a relationship for seven years before publicly confirming it recently. They have embraced the title “The Wedding of Virosh” for their union.

Deverakonda is known for films such as Arjun Reddy, while Mandanna gained nationwide recognition with Pushpa: The Rise and Animal.
