TruckGuru Gears Up for 20–30% Rise in Freight Movement in 2026

As India’s logistics sector prepares for another year of infrastructure-led expansion, TruckGuru, a fast-growing digital truck booking platform, is gearing up to support what industry estimates suggest could be a 20–30 per cent rise in freight movement in 2026 . Industry observers attribute the projected growth to continued highway expansion, progress on dedicated freight corridors and ongoing GST-driven supply chain consolidation , which are collectively strengthening the country’s transport ecosystem.

Founded by Hitesh Magnani , TruckGuru said it is reinforcing its technology backbone and expanding its network of verified transporters to meet rising demand for organised and technology-enabled freight solutions. According to the company, businesses are increasingly seeking predictable pricing, real-time shipment visibility and reduced reliance on informal intermediaries , reflecting a broader structural shift in India’s road logistics sector.

Road transport accounts for more than 60 per cent of India’s freight movement, and booking patterns are steadily evolving. Companies, including MSMEs, manufacturers, e-commerce sellers and agri-traders, are gradually moving away from fragmented broker-led systems towards digital platforms that offer transparency, tracking and streamlined documentation. Demand has been particularly strong in major industrial centres such as Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.

To prepare for anticipated growth, the company said it is focusing on strengthening route optimisation and pricing intelligence tools, improving customer support systems, enhancing digital documentation workflows and reinforcing last-mile coordination in high-volume industrial clusters. It emphasised that capacity expansion would be accompanied by efforts to ensure smoother and more accountable freight management processes.

As trucking rates adjust in response to higher demand and operating costs, digital platforms are expected to play a greater role in maintaining pricing transparency and operational efficiency . TruckGuru currently facilitates full truckload services across sectors including FMCG, construction materials, pharmaceuticals and industrial goods.
