Trump Posts 43 Times in Six Hours on Truth Social, Shares AI Images and Trump 2028 Memes

US President Donald Trump triggered fresh controversy after flooding Truth Social with 43 posts in just six hours on Sunday, many of them featuring AI generated artwork, digitally edited memes and campaign style graphics. The posting spree, which began while Trump was at his Virginia golf club and continued after he returned to the White House, quickly went viral as political commentators compiled the uploads into a minute by minute timeline.

The burst of activity started at 11:16 a.m. with a digitally altered image placing CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins' face onto the body of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, escalating Trump's public criticism of the journalist following remarks he made at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. At 11:43 a.m., he shared a cartoon mocking rock legend Bruce Springsteen before remaining inactive for several hours while playing golf.

Trump resumed posting at 3:22 p.m. with another meme before uploading, within minutes, a photograph of himself standing beside former President Joe Biden during an Oval Office address. He followed it with a humorous image depicting Chris Christie and Jerry Nadler fighting over a slice of cheesecake, a collage mocking late night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, and another image targeting Rosie O'Donnell, extending a series of posts aimed at media personalities and celebrities.

From that point, Trump's feed became dominated by AI generated artwork. At 3:24 p.m., he shared a military themed poster bearing the slogan "Give the Enemy Nightmares." A minute later came a science fiction inspired "Cosmic Commander" style movie poster resembling Star Trek, followed by multiple Trump 2028 themed graphics, including a campaign poster, an AI generated museum exhibit featuring a statue of Trump tossing a Trump 2028 cap, and another illustration showing him proudly wearing the same hat. The posts fuelled renewed speculation over Trump's repeated references to seeking another presidential term despite constitutional term limits.

The most striking series focused on the ongoing conflict with Iran. Trump posted an AI image labelled "Strike on Kharg", referencing Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export terminal. He then repeatedly uploaded variations of another AI generated image captioned "It's Our Oil Tanker Now!" showing himself aboard what appeared to be an Iranian oil tanker waving a large American flag. Several versions followed within minutes, with each adding new details including American troops, additional military hardware and altered backgrounds. In total, the oil tanker themed image appeared repeatedly throughout the afternoon, making it one of the most reposted visuals of the day.

Trump also shared another AI image captioned "No More Engines", depicting an Iranian vessel exploding at sea. The military themed uploads continued with an illustration of Trump dressed as a US Navy commander, followed by patriotic graphics portraying him before America's Founding Fathers beneath the slogan "America First." Additional images described him as "The Man Who Saved America" and referred to the United States as the "Guardians of the World."

The later posts shifted back to fantasy style AI artwork. Trump uploaded an unclear AI generated graphic with no obvious context, an edited image showing himself standing beside former President John F. Kennedy outside the White House, another Trump 2028 themed graphic centred around a commemorative coffee mug, and reposted an earlier AI image depicting a giant air filter stretching across the US Canada border, referencing smoke from Canadian wildfires. He also shared an AI image portraying himself as a doctor alongside the message encouraging Republicans to "have a spine," before ending the spree with a fictional movie poster titled "Trump X Washington: A Time Travel Epic," showing himself alongside George Washington.

The posting spree attracted widespread attention not only because of its volume but also because of its pace. According to media reports, Trump made 43 Truth Social posts in approximately six hours, often publishing several images within the same minute while travelling back from his golf club. The White House has previously defended Trump's prolific use of Truth Social, saying the platform allows him to communicate directly with the public without relying on traditional media.
