TTD Launches ‘Srivari Vaidya Seva,’ Invites Global Doctors to Volunteer
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced “Srivari Vaidya Seva,” a pilot initiative aimed at strengthening healthcare services across its network of hospitals by inviting medical professionals to serve on a voluntary basis .
TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra inaugurated the programme on Friday and unveiled a dedicated digital platform that enables doctors and specialists from around the world to register online and choose convenient service dates.
According to Ravichandra, the initiative is designed to enhance patient care and create opportunities for professionals to contribute their expertise in a spirit of service. The programme is being implemented as a pilot project in TTD-run healthcare institutions.
Under the scheme, super-speciality doctors can volunteer for three days, while MBBS practitioners can offer services for seven days. TTD will provide free accommodation and meals to participating doctors during their stay in Tirumala and Tirupati.
Volunteers can serve at several TTD-affiliated institutions, including Ashwini Hospital, SVIMS, BIRRD Hospital, the Ayurveda Hospital, the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre, and other associated facilities.
Officials said interested Hindu medical professionals can book service slots through TTD’s official website. TTD plans to expand the programme in the future to attract more specialists and further improve healthcare services across its institutions.
