
UP pushes global health-tech and AI investments with Frankfurt meeting
A delegation from Uttar Pradesh led by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya met senior executives of German technology firm Innoplexus & Partex in Frankfurt to explore collaboration in health technology, data centres and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions .
The meeting was held as part of the state government’s global outreach programme under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath , aimed at attracting foreign investment and strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s digital and healthcare infrastructure.
According to an official statement, discussions were held with Gunjan Bhardwaj , CEO of Innoplexus & Partex, on establishing long-term partnerships in privacy-compliant healthcare data platforms, AI-based medical solutions and data centre infrastructure . Bhardwaj shared plans to expand the company’s operations in India and proposed setting up data centres in Uttar Pradesh under a partnership model , which is expected to bring fresh investment and generate skilled employment.
The company also proposed pilot AI-based healthcare projects in cities including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow and Prayagraj , aimed at improving diagnostics, patient data management and healthcare delivery systems.
The meeting resulted in an understanding to collaborate on setting up computer centres , strengthening Global Capability Centre (GCC) operations and promoting the use of artificial intelligence in medical education and training. Both sides emphasised the importance of strict data privacy standards, data localisation and transparent governance while adopting data-driven healthcare solutions.
Officials noted that the engagement with Innoplexus & Partex forms part of a broader investment push , under which several domestic and international companies have shown interest in setting up facilities in Uttar Pradesh in the fields of digital health, data services and AI innovation. The state government has been positioning Uttar Pradesh as an emerging hub for health technology and data infrastructure through policy incentives and public-private partnerships.
In addition, discussions were held on expanding government-to-business cooperation and exploring revenue generation opportunities through technology-enabled healthcare services and digital platforms.
