US, UK, Germany Tech Experts to Join International Dialogue 2026 in Lucknow

The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS) is set to host International Dialogue 2026, branded as “Tech Sangam 2026”, from October 23 to 25. The event is expected to bring together nearly 1,200 policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, startups, legal professionals, academics and students from India and abroad. The three-day programme will examine the growing role of AI, quantum computing, robotics, drones, 3-D printing, cyber forensics, digital evidence and data security across industry, policing and the justice system.

The opening day, October 23, will centre on Talent and Industry Engagement. Students and young professionals will interact with technology companies, mentors and researchers through technical sessions, demonstrations and industry-academia engagements. Discussions will focus on internships, placements, entrepreneurship, research and future-oriented skills.

The main summit on October 24 will feature policy-industry roundtables, technology showcases, startup presentations, investment discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions. Government representatives, industry executives and technology developers are expected to explore opportunities for investment, research partnerships and institutional collaboration.

A major proposed initiative is the LexQ Centre of Excellence in Quantum Technology at UPSIFS. The proposed centre is intended to bring together quantum technology, cybersecurity, law and forensic applications, including post-quantum security, quantum communications, evidence integrity and legal compliance. Plans also include specialised quantum technology courses and an M.Tech programme.

The dialogue is expected to facilitate international MoUs with overseas academic and technology institutions. Organisations including the SANS Institute and University of Indianapolis have been identified as proposed partners, although the agreements are yet to be finalised.

October 25 will focus on consolidating collaborations and developing a longer-term framework connecting government, academia and industry. The summit is being positioned as a platform to turn technological innovation into investment, employment and startup opportunities, while helping educational institutions prepare talent for changing industry requirements.
