
UST GenCyS 2026 to Bring AI and Cybersecurity Leaders Together
an AI and technology transformation solutions company, will host the second edition of its global GenCyS AI and cybersecurity conference at its Thiruvananthapuram campus on September 5 and 6, 2026.
Building on the inaugural conference held in 2025, GenCyS 2026 will bring together technology leaders, AI practitioners, cybersecurity experts, researchers, developers and students to examine the growing convergence between artificial intelligence and digital security.
The free hybrid conference will feature lectures, technical sessions, panel discussions and hands-on workshops. Sessions will focus on emerging AI technologies, evolving cybersecurity threats and the ways organisations can adopt artificial intelligence while maintaining robust security practices.
The conference aims to provide participants with practical insights into the rapidly changing digital landscape while encouraging the development of safe and responsible AI innovation. A key attraction of the event will be the GenCyS CTF Finals, featuring finalists from UST’s Capture the Flag cybersecurity competition. The competition drew more than 1,500 participants from around the world, highlighting growing interest in cybersecurity skills and challenges.
