Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali First Single Endhayya Saami Is Out

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are back on screen together with the first single from their upcoming period action drama Ranabaali. Titled Endhayya Saami in Telugu, the romantic track is now out, giving audiences a glimpse of the softer and more intimate side of the film ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.

The song had already generated curiosity when a portion of it was unveiled as a special surprise around Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding in February. The full track now expands on that romantic mood, showcasing the relationship between Ranabaali and Jayamma, played by Vijay and Rashmika respectively.

Endhayya Saami captures the warmth of married life through playful romance, affectionate moments and small quarrels between the couple. Vijay and Rashmika’s chemistry forms the heart of the song, offering a striking contrast to the intense period-action setting of the film.

The track has been composed by Ajay-Atul, with lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry and vocals by Shweta Mohan and Ajay Gogavale. The song has been released across five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi — with the Hindi version titled O Mere Saajan.

Ranabaali is set against the backdrop of 19th-century British rule, with the story spanning the period between 1854 and 1878. Vijay plays the titular warrior, while Rashmika portrays Jayamma, his wife. Arnold Vosloo, known for The Mummy, plays the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. Reports have described the film as being inspired by historical events rather than a conventional biopic.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali marks his reunion with Vijay after Taxiwaala. It is also the third film featuring Vijay and Rashmika together after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, and their first collaboration following their marriage.

The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series presenting the project. With its musical promotions now underway, Endhayya Saami sets the stage for the film’s festive-season release.
