Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay turned a routine infrastructure launch into a viral public moment on Thursday after he flagged off 300 new government buses and then stepped inside one of them for an unscripted ride through Chennai , winning attention for his candid interactions with commuters and transport staff.

The event, held under the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation initiative to strengthen public mobility, saw Vijay inaugurate the new fleet before boarding one of the buses and travelling across the city.
