Wedding Bells For 'Hanu-Man' Star Teja Sajja, Actor Invites Telangana CM To Engagement
Telugu actor Teja Sajja, who shot to pan-India fame with 'Hanu-Man' (2024), is set to tie the knot in December 2026 with a US-based technology professional. The actor recently met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad and personally invited him to his engagement ceremony.
The meeting took place at the Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute (MCRHRD) in Hyderabad. Following the meeting, Revanth Reddy shared a post on X confirming the invitation. "Actor Teja Sajja met respectfully. He invited him to his engagement ceremony (sic)," the Chief Minister wrote.
According to reports, Teja's engagement is scheduled for November 2026, while the wedding will take place next month in Rajasthan in an intimate family ceremony. The couple is also planning a grand reception in Hyderabad, which is expected to be attended by friends and colleagues from the Telugu film industry.
While the actor has kept his fiancée's identity away from the public eye, he recently opened up about her in an interview with Deccan Chronicle. Revealing that she was raised in the United States, Teja said she works alongside her father in the technology sector.
"She was raised in the USA and is totally unaware of the limelight and I liked that the most and wish to continue to keep it that way. Her family has no connections with films, they are into the tech industry, she works with her father," he said.
The actor also explained his decision to keep his partner away from public attention, highlighting that she has no connection with the film industry. He wants to maintain her privacy even as he prepares for the wedding celebrations.
On the professional front, Teja Sajja established himself as a promising name in Telugu cinema with 'Hanu-Man', directed by Prasanth Varma. The 2024 superhero film emerged as a major box-office success and helped the actor gain recognition beyond Telugu-speaking audiences. He subsequently appeared in the action-adventure film 'Mirai' (2025) and the comedy-horror film 'Zombie Reddy'.
Teja also ventured into television as the host of the Telugu adaptation of the reality show 'The Traitors'. The series featured 20 contestants from different fields, including Chinmayee Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi Mahavadi, Shreedevi Chowdary, Vidyu Raman and Sai Ronak.
