India A Women bounced back in style in the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars, securing an emphatic eight-wicket win over Pakistan A Women here on Sunday. After a disappointing seven-wicket loss to United Arab Emirates A Women in their opener, this victory lifts India A to second place in Group A behind the UAE.

The match was dominated by India’s spin brigade, led by skipper Radha Yadav , who took two wickets for just 11 runs in three overs. Radha was ably supported by Prema Rawat (2/16) and Minnu Mani (1/10) , while pacer Saima Thakor impressed with two wickets for 14 runs in her four overs. Together, they bundled Pakistan out for a modest 93 in 18.5 overs, never allowing the visitors to build a meaningful partnership.

Chasing 94, India suffered an early setback when Humaira Kazi fell on the very first ball. But Dinesh Vrinda quickly turned the tide with a blistering counterattack, smashing an unbeaten 55 off 29 balls, including 12 boundaries. She found steady support from Anushka Sharma , who contributed 24 runs off 26 deliveries, as the duo put together a decisive 78-run stand.

After Anushka’s dismissal, Tejal Hasabnis finished the game in style, scoring 12 off five balls, as India raced to victory in just 10.1 overs with 59 balls to spare.

India A’s dominant performance, powered by disciplined bowling and explosive batting, sets up a promising campaign in the Rising Stars tournament.
