Yash Raj films reveals release date for Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’

Yash Raj Films has officially announced that its upcoming Spy Universe film Alpha will hit theatres worldwide on July 10, 2026. The film marks the first female-led installment in the studio’s popular spy franchise.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, the action thriller stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead roles, alongside veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal parts. The production house revealed the new release date through a stylish poster on social media, confirming that the film has been pushed back from its earlier plans of a late 2025 and later April 2026 release.

According to the makers, the delay will allow additional time for extensive visual effects and post-production work, which are expected to enhance the film’s large-scale action sequences. The announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans, particularly for Bhatt’s first full-fledged action role in the Spy Universe.
