Yash's Toxic Turns Up the Heat With New Poster, Grand Trailer Launch Expected on August 8
The countdown has officially begun for Yash's biggest cinematic event of the year. With Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups all set to storm theatres on August 26, 2026, the makers have kicked off the final phase of promotions by unveiling a stunning new poster that showcases the Rocking Star in a rugged, stylish, and swag-filled avatar. The latest look has instantly gone viral, sending fans into a frenzy across social media.
Over the past few months, Toxic has remained one of the most talked-about Indian films. Every promotional asset, from the teaser to the songs, has sparked conversations and debates, keeping the film firmly in the spotlight. While the first glimpse and teaser divided opinions over the film's dark and unconventional tone, they also fuelled enormous curiosity about director Geetu Mohandas' ambitious vision.
Now, all eyes are on what could be the biggest promotional event yet. According to multiple industry reports, the official trailer is expected to be unveiled at a grand launch event in Bengaluru on August 8. Although the makers are yet to confirm the date, the trailer is expected to reveal the film's story, emotional depth, and action-packed world, making it the most crucial promotional asset ahead of release.
The promotional campaign has also gathered momentum through its music. After Kiara Advani grabbed attention in the chartbuster "Tabaahi," the makers released the romantic track featuring Yash and Tara Sutaria, with their chemistry earning widespread praise from fans. Lyricist Raj Shekhar recently revealed that Yash was deeply involved in the creative process, describing him as "a very, very sharp man" who contributed significantly to shaping the film's musical identity.
Adding to the excitement, actor Akshay Oberoi recently disclosed that the film's visual styling draws inspiration from iconic Bollywood legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, and Shatrughan Sinha, giving Toxic a distinctive retro gangster aesthetic blended with a modern cinematic approach.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. The multilingual action drama is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, with music composed by Ravi Basrur, Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, Arslan Nizami, Faheem Abdullah, and others.
