
YSRCP Assures Support to Traders Affected by Draksharamam Market Fire
Leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) visited the site of a major fire accident at the vegetable market in Draksharamam, Konaseema district , on Friday, extending support to traders who suffered losses in the blaze.
Former MP Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and YSRCP Ramachandrapuram constituency coordinator Pilli Surya Prakash , along with party leaders, inspected the damaged shops and interacted with affected traders. The fire, which broke out in the early hours of Friday , is reported to have destroyed several small businesses and caused significant financial losses to vendors.
During their visit, the leaders enquired about the extent of the damage and expressed concern over the hardships faced by the traders. They assured the victims that the party would stand by them and continue to support their efforts to secure relief and assistance.
Describing the loss of livelihood for small traders as unfortunate, the YSRCP leaders urged the government to immediately assess the damage and provide adequate compensation . They called for prompt financial assistance to help affected vendors rebuild their businesses and resume normal operations.
The leaders emphasised that small traders play an important role in the local economy and said the government should extend all possible support to those impacted by the incident. They reiterated that the party would continue to stand with people during times of distress and provide necessary assistance to affected families.
Several party workers and local residents also participated in the visit, expressing solidarity with the traders who suffered losses in the fire accident.
