YSRCP Marks 16th Foundation Day with Statewide CelebrationsThe 16th Foundation Day of the YSR Congress Party was celebrated at the party’s central office in Tadepalli with the participation of a large number of leaders, supporters, and party workers from across the state.

Party president and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the event as the chief guest. He paid floral tributes to his father, former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and later unfurled the party flag.

Addressing party cadres, Jagan said the party began with a single individual but has grown into a major political force with the support of millions. He stated that the promise he made at Nallakalva following YSR’s death led to the launch of the Odarpu Yatra. When the then ruling Indian National Congress opposed the yatra, he chose to leave the party and establish the YSR Congress Party to fulfill his commitment.

He said the party represents the aspirations of millions of people and continues to uphold values, credibility, and commitment to public welfare. Jagan also thanked party workers and supporters for their continued trust and extended greetings on the occasion.

Several former ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and senior leaders attended the celebrations. Party cadres raised slogans and cut cakes to mark the occasion.
