YSRCP Vows to Continue Fight Over DSC-2025 Irregularities

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has vowed to continue its agitation over alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment process, demanding a CBI probe into the matter.

Addressing reporters in Tadepalli, YSRCP Krishna district president and former minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) said the party would pursue the issue until it reached a logical conclusion. He alleged that the ruling coalition government was filing cases against YSRCP leaders and workers to prevent them from contesting the upcoming local body elections.

“We will continue our fight on the DSC issue. Justice may be delayed, but it cannot be denied,” Nani said, insisting that a CBI investigation was the only solution to establish the facts.

Nani also alleged that the government had mobilised teachers appointed under the sports quota ahead of a YSRCP protest at the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) office. He said the party had obtained permission for a peaceful protest, but cases were subsequently registered against unemployed youth and YSRCP leaders and workers.

Questioning the presence of a large number of sports-quota teachers at the SAAP office during the protest, Nani asked how people who had allegedly not appeared for the DSC or TET examinations could have been mobilised while they were still under probation.

He further alleged that although several complaints had been filed against YSRCP leaders and workers, no cases were registered against those who allegedly attacked the party cadres. According to Nani, the developments were part of an attempt to keep YSRCP leaders and workers away from the forthcoming local body elections.

Referring to the Supreme Court's observations in the Saikrishna custodial death case, Nani said he expected a similar response from the judiciary in the DSC matter. He maintained that the truth would eventually come out and reiterated that the party would continue its agitation until the DSC-2025 issue reached its logical conclusion.
